A summer they spend moving, not scrolling

A fun-filled summer for children aged 3 to 12, where they enjoy gymnastics, arts, crafts and team games while building skills that outlast the holidays.

What makes it work

The long holiday is the problem camp exists to solve

Weeks of unstructured time turn into weeks of screens, late mornings and a child who is somehow more tired than during term.

Our camp gives the day a shape again. Children arrive to a group that expects them, move properly for hours rather than minutes, make something with their hands, and go home genuinely tired in the way that produces a good night's sleep. Because it runs inside our own centres, the equipment and coaching are the same ones our weekly classes use — camp is not a watered-down holiday version.

It also does something a term-time class cannot. Camp days are long enough for children to form real friendships, not just recognise faces, and mixed-age group challenges give older children a chance to lead younger ones. Parents regularly tell us the social change is the part that surprised them.

  • Gymnastics. Proper apparatus work, scaled by age and ability.
  • Arts and crafts. Making things — which builds fine motor skills and gives them something to take home.
  • Team games. Cooperation, strategy and losing gracefully, learned in the only way it can be.
  • Indoors and air-conditioned. Activity that does not depend on the weather being kind.

What the hours actually look like

Camp is longer than a class, so it is built in blocks. Children move, then make, then compete, then rest — and the order is deliberate.

  1. 1

    Arrival & warm-up

Groups form, names get learned, and bodies get properly warm before anything physical is asked of them.

  2. 2

    Gymnastics block

The main physical session on real apparatus — scaled by age, and the part that burns the energy.

  3. 3

    Craft & making

A deliberate change of pace after exertion. Hands get busy, heart rates come down, and something goes home.

  4. 4

    Team games

Mixed-age group challenges where older children get to lead and younger ones get carried along.

  5. 5

    Wind-down

A calm close so nobody is handed back to a parent completely overstimulated.

Practical things parents ask

Before you send them

Camp days are longer and more physical than a weekly class, so a few practical things make a real difference to how your child experiences them.

  • Clothes they can move in. Sessions are barefoot on padded flooring, so no special footwear is needed — but hair should be tied back and jewellery left at home.
  • A named water bottle. Children drink far more at camp than they do at a single class, and a named bottle saves a lot of confusion.
  • Tell us about anything medical. Allergies, asthma, a recent injury, anything a coach should know — tell us at booking rather than on the morning.
  • No experience required. Groups are mixed-ability by design. A child who has never done gymnastics will not be left behind by one who has.
  • Expect a tired child. This is the point. Most parents report better sleep across a camp week than during term.

If your child is nervous about a full day away from you, say so when you book. It is extremely common, our coaches are used to it, and knowing in advance lets them keep an eye on that child specifically for the first hour.
