The years when movement is still being wired in

Gaur Saundaryam skews towards younger families, and with them a lot of toddlers and pre-schoolers. That is a more important window than it looks.

Between roughly two and six, children are laying down the gross motor patterns — balance, landing, climbing, changing direction — that everything physical later gets built on top of. A child who misses that window does not usually become clumsy in an obvious way. They become the one who hangs back at sports day, hesitates on climbing frames, and quietly decides early that they are “not sporty”. That decision tends to stick for decades.

Our Little Explorers band (2–4) is a deliberately gentle first introduction: soft-play and low apparatus only, no pressure to perform, and a pace designed to reassure the parent as much as the child. Mini Champs (4–6) then adds real coordination and strength work through playful exercises and games, along with the fine motor element that shows up later as handwriting.

Both bands include the craft component, which is doing quiet work on grip, precision and hand–eye coordination while looking, to a four-year-old, like the fun bit.
