How GrowStrong Achievers empowers kids and delights parents
Every child deserves a joyful journey of growth. At GrowStrong Achievers that means classes that balance fun, fitness, creativity and social skills in a safe, supportive space. Here is what that looks like in practice, from the shape of a class to where to find us.
Short answer: GrowStrong Achievers is a gymnastics-based kids' gym for children aged 2 to 12, with centres in Greater Noida West and Lucknow, both open 9 AM to 8 PM every day. Classes last 75 minutes, can be attended once or more a week, and are split into five age bands. We also run a preschool and daycare programme called Achievers Care, sessions inside schools, and a summer camp.
What is GrowStrong Achievers?
GrowStrong Achievers is a kids' gym where children aged 2 to 12 use gymnastics to build strength, coordination and confidence, alongside the social skills that make group life easier. Gymnastics does the physical work: rolling, climbing, hanging, balancing, jumping and landing. The structure of each class does the rest.
That structure is what separates a class from a play session. There is time for children to say what they are good at, to greet each other properly, to make something with their hands and to be recognised for effort. Our activity-based curriculum is aligned to developmental guidelines from the CDC and the Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP), so what a five-year-old is asked to do suits what a five-year-old is developing, rather than being a scaled-down version of an older child's class.
It is not a soft-play area where children are simply supervised. The aim is to combine fitness, creativity and emotional learning in one hour, so that resilience and self-belief grow alongside the physical skills. The simplest description is a weekly class where play has a purpose.
What happens in a GrowStrong class?
A GrowStrong class runs for 75 minutes through five stages that never change order, so children always know what is coming next.
- Affirmations. Each child names something they are good at, so confidence starts from the inside instead of waiting on an adult's approval.
- Social greetings. A hello circle in which every child is greeted by name and greets someone back, practising listening, eye contact and taking turns.
- Warm-up. Movement that raises the heart rate and loosens the body, so nothing demanding happens to cold muscles.
- Themed activity. The week's theme shapes the gymnastics drills, the obstacle work and a craft task, so learning feels like play.
- Award moment. A short ceremony for effort and improvement, not for winning, so every child can feel proud, whether they are a complete beginner or already the most capable in the room.
That is a deliberate choice. Rewarding effort keeps the children who find things hardest in the room, and it shows the ones who find things easy that progress, not natural ability, is what is worth being proud of.
The theme changes every week; the running order does not, and that predictability is deliberate. Children settle faster when they know the shape of the hour, and a quieter child gets two easy ways to take part before any equipment comes out. If your child holds back in new groups, our guide to helping a shy child join in has practical steps.
Why is there a craft activity in a gym class?
There is a craft task in every GrowStrong class because creativity matters as much as movement, and because careful hand work builds fine motor skills that climbing and jumping do not. Each task follows the week's theme, and it gives the hour a change of pace that keeps concentration from fraying.
Children work on it sometimes on their own and sometimes together. Grip, precision and hand–eye coordination all get a workout, and the climbing earlier in the hour has already worked the shoulders and trunk that steady hand work depends on. Our article on gross and fine motor skills explains why the two belong together.
Children also get the chance to show what they made at the end of class, which turns a few minutes of cutting and sticking into something to be proud of.
What age groups does GrowStrong teach?
GrowStrong teaches children from 2 to 12 in five age bands, so a toddler and a ten-year-old are never squeezed into one class that suits neither.
- Little Explorers, 2–4: a gentle first introduction, using soft-play and low apparatus only, with no pressure to perform
- Mini Champs, 4–6: the motor skills school will soon demand, such as balance, jumping and landing, plus following a two-step instruction
- Skill Builders, 6–8: named gymnastic shapes, partner tasks and teamwork
- Confident Creators, 8–10: longer skill sequences, with core and upper-body strength
- Future Achievers, 10–12: conditioning that respects growing bodies, and chances to lead within the group
Birthdays are a guide rather than a rule: coaches place each child in a band on the day, after watching how they move and how they join in. Each band is described in more detail on our Centre Programme page.

What else does GrowStrong run besides weekly classes?
Besides weekly classes, GrowStrong runs Achievers Care, a preschool and daycare programme; School Adventure, which takes our sessions inside schools; and a Summer Camp in the holidays.
Achievers Care runs at both centres, inside the kids' gym, with the same coaching team. The day mixes active play, motor-skill work and learning to get along with others, with calm rest periods between the busy parts. Placement depends on the group running at your centre, so talk to us about your child and, if you can, visit while a session is running.
With School Adventure, GrowStrong runs sessions inside schools, so pupils can take part during the school day. The Summer Camp is a holiday camp for children aged 3 to 12, for families who want the long break to include plenty of movement.
Is GrowStrong right for my child?
GrowStrong is designed for children aged 2 to 12 at any starting level, whether they are bursting with energy, rather shy or somewhere in between. You do not need a sporty child. Classes are non-competitive and awards go to effort and improvement, so a complete beginner has as much to gain, and as much to be recognised for, as a child who has done gymnastics for years.
It is a good fit if you want your child to move more, gain strength and coordination, and grow more comfortable in a group, through something they look forward to each week. In our experience, the first changes parents mention are often social ones, such as more willingness to join in, before anything physical.
It is a less natural fit if your child's goal is competition. Our classes are non-competitive by design, so a child set on competing should look for a programme built around it.
How can I try a GrowStrong class?
You can try a GrowStrong class by booking a free trial at either centre, and you are welcome to stay and watch the whole session.
Your child joins a real class, and the coaches confirm the right age band on the day. It is the easiest way to see the five stages for yourself, from the first affirmation to the award moment, and to judge whether the atmosphere suits your child. To arrange one, use our free trial booking page, or call or WhatsApp +91 99104 58324.
Afterwards, ask the coaches which band they would suggest and why, and mention anything you have noticed at home, from a fear of climbing to a habit of giving up quickly. It helps them understand your child, and it helps you judge whether this is the right place.
Questions parents ask
What does it mean that the GrowStrong curriculum is aligned to CDC and IAP guidelines?
It means the activities in each age band are chosen to support the developmental guidance that the CDC and the Indian Academy of Pediatrics publish for that age. A five-year-old is given drills that suit what five-year-olds are developing. It does not mean either organisation has endorsed, approved or certified GrowStrong; they publish guidance, and we build our curriculum around it.
Does the class change from week to week?
The theme changes from week to week, but the five-stage structure of the class stays the same every time. Each week's theme shapes the gymnastics drills, the obstacle work and the craft task, so there is always something new to try. The familiar order around it, from affirmations to the award moment, is what lets children relax enough to have a go.
Do both centres run the same programme?
Both centres run the same Centre Programme, with the same 75-minute, five-stage class, the same five age bands from 2 to 12 and the same opening hours of 9 AM to 8 PM every day. For current batch times, and to check what suits your child, call or WhatsApp the team on +91 99104 58324 before you visit.
How is School Adventure different from the Centre Programme?
School Adventure brings GrowStrong sessions into schools, while the Centre Programme is the weekly class that families attend at our two centres. A school arranges School Adventure for its pupils; a parent books the Centre Programme for their own child, usually starting with a free trial. If you would like sessions at your child's school, ask the school to get in touch with us.
Why does GrowStrong build its classes around gymnastics?
GrowStrong builds its classes around gymnastics because it develops strength, balance, coordination, flexibility and body awareness together, using movements that scale from a toddler's first roll to a ten-year-old's skill sequence. Progress is also easy for a child to see, which feeds confidence. The rest of the hour, from the hello circle to the craft task, builds the social and creative side around it.
